College quarter system needs to be universal - Perspectives

Here is a student-written editorial about the advantages of the quarter vs the semester. I am inclined to share their appreciation for the tri term year for university studies. No stranger to either system, the fast pace and shorter session are the ideal learning environment for me.

Faculty and students (from other colleges)write the opposite: semesters are the sensational system for college. They love the slow and steady tortoise-like pace to the finishline of their educational aim.

This quarter system may not work best for everyone. Or perhaps those who question the quality of the quarter system would be swayed if they attended Foothill College and experienced the winning combination of great teachers, super schedules, and quick completions of educational goals through the quarter system!
